Jan Stuart serves as the department's Animal Control Officer. Jan was appointed by the Board of Selectmen for this position and is responsible for the enforcement of the laws of the State of New Hampshire and the ordinances of the Town of Newington, pertaining to the licensing and control of dogs and other regulated animals. The ACO can be reached by contacting the police department.
