Firearms Instructor/Master Patrolman Leonard Kerekes uses a recently purchased parts washer filled with a chemical called "Kleeneze" designed by Solvent Kleen of Peabody, Massachusetts, to clean the department firearms. Solvent Kleen developed Kleeneze specifically to clean the carbon from firearms.

The parts washer allows the weapons to be cleaned more efficiently by submerging them in the solvent.
