At the present time, the police department does not have any openings for full-time officers. However, that can change from time to time. The police department is a member of the McIntosh Police Testing Alliance. Twice a year McIntosh College conducts an entry-level officer examination to establish employment eligibility for surrounding member departments. The eligibility list is sent to our department and applicants are chosen from this list. To register for the examination you must complete a registration form and send a non-refundable examination fee directly to McIntosh College.
